KAUNAS, Lithuania – Rudy Fernández added one more title to his incredible trophy case. Real Madrid came from behind once again to get the win over Olympiacos in the final of the EuroLeague in a new demonstration of the white character:
“It was tough for us but that’s what this Real Madrid logo has,” Rudy said after lifting his third EuroLeague. “We kept believing. There are difficulties but we know how to overcome them at all times. So, the reward is to win another EuroLeague with Real Madrid. It’s incredible“.
The Spanish forward made clear that after so many successes, Madrid cannot be doubted:
“We have to keep believing in our work. Of course, we are living an incredible decade of basketball and the truth is that we always have the responsibility to continue competing. People who don’t believe, when we have been at the top for so many years, should take a look at themselves“.
And the fact is that Madrid left everything on the court during Final Four and Rudy is proof of that: “Things can go well or badly, as long as we give our all“.
