American big man Matt Costello, who has been playing basketball in Spain since 2021, can turn his route to Israel. According to One.il, the 29-year-old basketball player is being considered for Maccabi‘s squad for next season.
Maccai Playtika Tel Aviv competed under the leadership of Oded Kattash in the 2022-23 EuroLeague season. Although not in the EuroLeague, they crowned the season with the trophy in the Israeli Basketball League and took the trophy to their museum for the 56th time. After punctuating the season completely, they opened the transfer file and started working on the new season.
Maccabi wants to color Matt Costello from Baskonia, another EuroLeague team. Costello has played 34 games in the EuroLeague this season and has started five times.
