Anadolu Efes swingman Elijah Bryant confirmed that he will remain with the team in the upcoming season via his newsletter. Bryant had signed a two-year deal with the Turkish powerhouse in 2021, and now extended his contract until 2025.
“… This unwavering commitment to consistency has played a major role in my decision to stay with Anadolu Efes,” Bryant wrote.
Bryant, 28, played a crucial part in Efes winning the 2023 Turkish BSL League championship. He averaged 21.3 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.6 steals in the three wins of Efes over Fenerbahce Beko in the semifinals and then posted 14.0 points and 5.3 rebounds in the sweep over Pinar Karsiyaka in the Finals.
In 2022, Bryant helped Efes win the back-to-back EuroLeague championship, having 16 points in the semifinal win over Olympiacos Piraeus. He became just the second player to win back-to-back NBA and EuroLeague titles after Jim Brewer.
