As announced by his agent Misko Raznatovic, the US center Hassan Martin has moved from Crvena Zvezda to Shimane Susanoo Magic in Japan.

Martin signed with Crvena Zvezda last summer after spending two seasons with Olympiacos and won the domestic league and cup during his time in Belgrade.

The 27-year-old wore the red and white jersey in 23 EuroLeague games last season, averaging 4.9 points and three rebounds. He missed two months of action due to a knee injury.

This will be his second stint in Japan, as he played his first professional season with Ryukyu Golden Kings in Okinawa City after four years of college basketball at Rhode Island. He then joined Bayreuth in Germany before his move to Crvena Zvezda.

Martin also played for Buducnost Podgorica before joining Olympiacos in 2020.

Bursa’s Dudzinski also in Japan

Raznatovic also announced that David Dudzinski from Bursa will continue his career in Japan, signing with San-en NeoPhoenix.

The 31-year-old forward spent the last two seasons with Bursa, averaging 11.3 points and 5.5 rebounds in the EuroCup in the previous season.

Dudzinski spent four years at Holy Cross before going pro in 2014 with Fortitudo Agrigento in Italy. He then played for Siauliai in Lithuania, Romania’s Steaua Bucharest, and spent four seasons with Giants Antwerp in Belgium before joining Bursa in 2021.
