During the introduction of Tuomas Iisalo as the new head coach, Paris Basketball’s president, David Kahn, announced that Ismael Kamagate will be joining Olimpia Milano.
Paris recently confirmed that Kamagate is leaving the club after four years, and it appears that he will be taking a step up to play in the EuroLeague for Ettore Messina’s team.
The athletic 22-year-old center was selected as the 46th overall pick in the 2022 NBA draft by the Denver Nuggets. Coach Mike Malone, who led the team to the championship, mentioned during the Finals that Kamagate is expected to join their side for the upcoming season but will continue playing in Europe.
Kamagate had an impressive season with Paris, averaging 9.6 points on 75% shooting and 7.9 rebounds in 54 games between the French League and EuroCup.
