Milos Teodosic has agreed to a deal with Crvena Zvezda according to Telegraf. Per the report, the Serbian superstar is returning to his home country by signing a contract for 2023-24 (including an option for 2024-25) with Red Star.

Teodosic, a well-known Zvezda fan, was heavily speculated throughout the season to sign with the team upon the expiration of his contract with Virtus Bologna. A free agent after spending four years with Virtus, Teodosic is back to play basketball in his home country for the first time since 2007 and his stint with FMP.

This contract will likely be the last that Teodosic signs in his quite successful career. Since 2007 when he joined Olympiacos, the 36-year-old playmaker gradually evolved into one of the top point guards outside the NBA, being named EuroLeague MVP in 2010, a three-time All-EuroLeague First Team selection (2010, 2015, 2016) while making the Second Team in three seasons (2012, 2013, 2017). He won the EuroLeague championship in 2016 with CSKA and was the competition’s assists leader in 2015 and 2017.

In 2017, Teodosic made the jump to the NBA where he spent two seasons with the Los Angeles Clippers 8.0 points, 4.0 assists and 2.4 rebounds.
