Dinamo Banco Di Sardegna Sassari made a valiant effort, but in the end CSKA Moscow got the 93-87 win over the Italians thanks to Milos Teodosic.

When nothing was working for the Russians, Teodosic scored 21 points, including a buzzer beating three at the end of the first half which made the score 50-45 for the hosts and the biggest shot of the game. CSKA had a 12 points advantage (70-58) after the end of the third quarter, however nothing was over yet.

Under new coach Marco Calvani, the Italians tried to do something better than usual and they managed to tie the game at 82 with four minutes left after a shot by Christian Eyenga (19 p.) which concluded an 11-0 run. The answer was 2/2 free throws by Nando De Colo and a shot by Nikita Kurbanov which made the score 86-82, but Marquez Haynes tied the score again (86-86) with a three and one minute left on the clock. Teodosic answered with the most crucial three of the game (89-86) and that was the end of it.

David Logan had 21 points in total for the losing side, while Nando De Colo added 17 points for CSKA and sealed the win with 2/2 free throws. CSKA is tied with Unicaja at 6-1 on top of the standings in Group C, while remains the only Euroleague team without a win.
