The Nikola Mirotic saga may be far from the end. After Eurohoops’ report on the superstar being off the market due to his contractual situation with FC Barcelona, some confirms come directly from his agent Igor Crespo.

Interviewed by RAC1, in fact, he said that his client daily earns a very high amount of money from the Catalan team. “We are not in any rush, every day that passes they spend 31.000 euros: Barça should be in a hurry. In addition, officially they have not told us anything”, Igor Crespo said.

“I do not understand what is happening. They have communicated to us in public and in private that they want to do without Nikola Mirotic, but we do not have any written notification or anything official. The last communication we had with the club was on June 28. I called the club to ask what their intention was and they told me that they would contact me shortly; curiously, I have not heard anything again until last night when it was announced that he was going to give this interview”, Nikola Mirotic’s agent added.

The 32-year-old EuroLeague superstar may have ended his adventure with Barcelona by being named ACB Finals MVP, even though the solution may be far from being reached. “What does not seem logical is to benefit from the first four years of the contract, in which the player receives significantly less than the value set, and then not wanting to pay for the last two years”, Igor Crespo said as well.

Igor Crespo is also Juancho Hernangomez’s agent. Following his brother Willy’s arrival in Barcelona, he commented about a possible reunion of the two. “On Juancho, there is only interest, there is no offer. Once the Nikola situation is resolved, we can talk about anything”, Crespo commented.
