Although Nikola Jokic will not be a part of the Serbian national team for the upcoming World Cup, Serbia still has a quality big man, Nikola Milutunov. The whole of Europe was talking about Milutinov at one point. After three years, he left CSKA Moscow, was targeted by many clubs, but ultimately decided to return to Olympiacos.
“I am sad because Sasha Vezenkov left, I hoped we would be together again, but I was aware of how he played, he really deserved to go to the NBA, where I think I will make similar results, if not better than those in the Euroleague.”
The Serbian big man commented on the move by Kostas Sloukas.
“Everyone can guess what the comments are about Slukas. He made his decision, I have nothing to comment on, he is a grown man and will have to continue with what he decided“.
Although Olympiakos has been dominant over Panathinaikos for years – it is clear that the war will flare up again.
“Panathinaikos is making a good team this season, they decided to get back on the scene and be at the top again. It will be much more difficult this year, first of all, we don’t have Sasha because he was the MVP of the Euroleague and it will be difficult for us to make up for his departure,” Milutinov adds.
