The 14-year-old Turkish prospect Omer Kutluay, the son of former Turkish player Ibrahim Kutluay, has transferred to Real Madrid from Anadolu Efes.
Even though Omer Kutluay received an offer from Barcelona, he chose to continue his career in Madrid.
“In my athletic career, I thought I had experienced all forms of success and excitement, but witnessing my son’s adventure is an entirely different feeling. I am proud of you for wearing the jersey of the world’s greatest club,” Ibrahim Kutluay wrote on social media.
In recent months, he had some impressive performances. As part of the FIBA Youth Development Project, during the 2nd International Camp held in Kosovo, the Turkish U14 National Team faced Kosovo and Kutluay shined. The talented player delivered a performance of 50 points, 17 rebounds, and five assists against Kosovo, becoming the star of the match.
