Rolling into Round 2 with a huge boost from Round 1, our EuroLeague Fantasy tips are looking good

By Dimitris Minaretzis/ info@eurohoops.net

Starting the EuroLeague Fantasy season, our top choice in Alec Peters was the best part of our selections for Round 1 of the Regular Season.

Being named MVP of the Round, he was brilliant for Olympiacos against archrival Panathinaikos. Besides the PIR of 31, he also earned us the win bonus and was an affordable addition to the squad.

Keeping him is a no-brainer, especially with the Reds moving forward without injured Luke Sikma. He is guaranteed for playing time in the rotation of head coach Giorgos Bartzokas.

Even if you did not follow our tip, picking him up now is far from a stretch. From 9.1 to 10.1 units, the price was slightly adjusted but remains relatively cheap in Fantasy. We expect more from him this week and probably for the rest of the season.

More perfect spots

LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne’s Joffrey Lauvergne, Matt Thomas and Johannes Thiemann of ALBA Berlin, and Panathinaikos’ Marius Grigonis shaped other brilliant tips presented by Eurohoops last week. Check them out.

We believed in their returns compared to their respective prices and were absolutely right.

For example, Grigonis was among the best showings for Panathinaikos opposite the Reds. He cost 7.5 and went up to 7.8 units this week.

Avoiding overpriced players such as Jabari Parker, Sikma, Milos Teodosic, and Kemba Walker to instead rely on other tested options was another correct recommendation.

Let’s go with Obradovic and Avramovic

Enough with last week. We have studied for this week as well.

Partizan Mozzart Bet will stay on the road and face ASVEL rather than Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv.

Adding Zeljko Obradovic to our head coach slot replaced Pablo Laso. The FC Bayern Munich boss earned us plenty of points, but we believe Partizan is set to bounce back. Combined with Obradovic tagged at 7.1 units, we were convinced to put him in our EuroLeague Fantasy team.

Another Partizan addition is Aleksa Avramovic. He put up 23 Fantasy points in the opening round. Also, he is currently valued at 6.9 units. At that price range, he is worth a shot, especially after his showings in the 2023 FIBA World Cup and carrying form into the club level.

Our selections for Round 2

Eurohoops has its league, Eurohoops League. We invite you to join us. The winner of our league will get a jersey of a EuroLeague team at the end of the season.
