Pavel Savkov has extended his contract with Baskonia until the end of the 2027-28 season, and will continue his development in the G League.
The talented Russian player, who arrived in Vitoria-Gasteiz at the age of 16, will spend the rest of the season with in the NBA’s development league, as per the official statement.
Since joining the Baskonia youth structure in 2018, Pavel has undergone training in the club’s junior, EBA, and LEB Plata teams. He also gained valuable experience in LEB Oro with Juaristi ISB, where he averaged 12.3 points, shooting at 38.6% from beyond the arc. Last season, he was on loan at Fuenlabrada, competing in the ACB League.
Following the completion of the preseason and his contribution to the team under the guidance of Joan Penarroya up to this point, Savkov will head to USA, where he will remain for the rest of the season. Once the overseas season concludes, Pavel will return to Vitoria to continue his development.
