Alongside Giannoulis Larentzakis, Nikola Milutinov pushed Olympiacos to the big 98-94 victory in overtime against Zeljko Obradovic‘s team, going close to a double-double with 16 points and 7 rebounds, being almost perfect at the line with 12/14 FT. Performing a PIR of 30, he was named EuroLeague Round 4 MVP.

Nikola Milutinov opened up on the Greek team’s attitude. “We never give up, we always try to find a way to win the game. We put ourselves in a terrible situation [with] how we opened the second half. We cannot allow this if we want to be a serious contender and a serious team”, the Serbian center commented after the victory against his former team.

Since coming back to Piraeus, the 28-year-old big man never scored in single digits, averaging 14.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game, shooting 57.6% from two-point range and 85.7% at the charity stripe, helping Georgios Bartzokas go to 2-2 in a difficult start of the season, having to face EuroLeague Playoffs contenders like Panathinaikos, Barcelona, Milan, and finally Partizan.
