The three American players had huge contributions to their team’s victories in the EuroLeague Round 15

In this year’s EuroLeague Round 10, it happened that both Shane Larkin and Maodo Lo were named MVPs following their outstanding performances respectively against Partizan Belgrade and Crvena Zvezda. Three MVPs of the Round at the same time, however, it’s new to this season.

Maccabi‘s Josh Nebo, Partizan’s Kevin Punter, and Milano‘s Shavon Shields, in fact, each put up 25-PIR nights to respectively lead their teams to victories over Baskonia, Valencia, and ASVEL, making them EuroLeague tri-MVPs of Round 15.

Starting from the American center, he led the Israeli side to the 89-81 win over the Basque team with a double-double of 17 points and 11 rebounds; Shavon Shields had an all-around night against Gianmarco Pozzecco’s team, ending with 13 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists, and 3 steals; finally, Partizan’s leader ruled on the road in Spain with 13 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, 1 block and 6 fouls drawn.

 

According to the official EuroLeague’s press release, both “Keenan Evans of Zalgiris Kaunas – 19 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals and 9 fouls drawn against Fenerbahce – and Dan Oturu – 19 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 blocks against Bayern Munich – of Anadolu Efes Istanbul each recorded a PIR of 30 but neither player could lead their teams to a win”.
