With an official press release on its website, Crvena Zvezda announced that the 18-year-old Nikola Topic, who recently came back to the red-and-white side from a loan to Mega, suffered a knee injury during the Belgrade derby against Partizan, and will be sidelined for 4-6 weeks.
Moreover, the Serbian team also provided an update on Joel Bolomboy, who suffered a dislocated finger during the same game. “The examination revealed that there are no fractures, the medical team of Crvena Zvezda already repaired the injury of our player during the night, and he will travel with the team to Ljubljana”, Ioannis Sfairopoulos’s team announced.
Finally, another bright and positive note came regarding the return of Luka Mitrovic, who has been missing the latest basketball appointments of the Serbian team. “The recovery is going according to plan after a knee injury, his return to the field is expected soon”, the press release added.
