Real Madrid completed perfectly the second-straight EuroLeague double-game week but lost both Sergio Llull and Walter Tavares for several weeks.

The Spanish club announced the playmaker suffered “an injury to the plantar fascia of his right foot”, while the Caboverdian center has been diagnosed with an “injury to the external lateral ligament of his right ankle”. Both will be re-evaluated with follow-up checks.

Becoming recently the player with the most appearances in the club’s history, Sergio Llull is averaging 8.4 points per game in the EuroLeague, while Walter Tavares is putting up 10.2 points and 7.0 rebounds per game. The Spanish club is 1st both in the EuroLeague (19-2) and in the ACB (16-1).
