Olympiacos Piraeus center Nikola Milutinov will undergo foot surgery and stay out of action for two months, Reds coach Giorgos Bartzokas confirmed after the EuroLeague away loss of his team to Real Madrid.

As the club officially confirmed, the player is expected to do the procedure on Saturday in hopes that he will be back to action before the end of the EuroLeague regular season.

Milutinov was hurt in the second half of the Greek League defeat of Olympiacos to Panathinaikos Athens when he bumped into teammate Kostas Papanikolaou. The initial examination showed that he suffered a sprain but it was later revealed that he fractured the fifth metatarsal in his left foot.

Olympiacos was on the market to sign a big man in light also of center Moustapha Fall being injured. The Greek powerhouse is signing former NBA big man Moses Wright who’s currently playing in Turkey with Merkezefendi.
