The Euroleague management, headed by President Dejan Bodiroga and CEO Paulius Motejunas, has arrived in Belgrade for talks with Partizan and Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet about obtaining an A license, as Meridian Sport has reported.

During the conversation with the leaders of the top European clubs competition, the Serbs will present their arguments opening the door for getting a longterm license with the EuroLeague.

The final decision on the possible license increase should be made by the Final Four in Berlin (May 24-26).

Per Eurohoops sources, it seems ulikely that the competition will expand next season, and if such an exception was made would include only Dubai.

However, it’s possible that the roadmap about the expansion and the steady presence of the two Serbian “eteranl rivals” in the competition will be decided in conjuction with the whole expansion plan for the near future.
