EuroLeague veteran guard Roko Leni Ukic retired from basketball at 39 years of age, his club KK Split announced. The Croatian player brought it full circle since he first played basketball with the Split youth teams in 1992 and made his professional debut with the team in 2000.

Ukic hangs his shoes after a career of 23 years during which he won several championships in Greece (2), Turkey (2) and Croatia (3) as well as titles in Spain and Slovenia. He played nine seasons in EuroLeague with Baskonia, Barcelona, Roma, Fenerbahce, Panathinaikos and Cedevita, appearing in 154 games.

From 2008 to 2010, Ukic played 85 games in the NBA with the Toronto Raptors and the Milwaukee Bucks.

A longtime member of the Croatian national team, Ukic represented his country in six EuroBasket tournaments, the 2016 Olympic Games and the 2014 World Cup.
