From joining Fenerbahce Beko on a one-month contract, Amine Noua is now set to be part of the Istanbul outfit for the remainder of the 2023-24 season.

His contract was extended until the end of the season, the team announced on Monday.

Noua, 27, penned a short-term contract on January 22. Shortly after debuting with Fener and an immediate connections to teammates and fans, he discussed a possible longer spell with Eurohoops.

Fenerbahce is his third team during the 2023-24 campaign. The French forward went from Hapoel Holon to Bertram Derthona Tortona in December, before moving up from the Basketball Champions League to the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague. Making his way to four games played, including three starts, he allied 8.0 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.2 blocks, 0.8 assists, and 0.5 steals per contest in his return to Europe’s premier club continental competition.

At 15-11, the team coached by Sarunas Jasikevicius is tied with Olympiacos in the sixth place of the standings, on the edge of the spots leading to a direct berth to the Playoffs. Three games shape the distance from the bottom end of the Play-In zone and possible elimination from the postseason.

Earlier EuroLeague experience for Noua amounts to 83 appearances over three campaigns with hometown LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne. The youth product of the team based in a suburb of Lyon split the 2021-22 season between SIG Strasbourg and MoraBanc Andorra, before reuniting with ASVEL in 2022-23 and moving around teams in 2023-24.
