Adding two more years to his contract with ALBA Berlin, Malte Delow committed until the conclusion of the 2026-27 season.

The German club announced the deal on Wednesday.

“I am really pleased to be able to continue my career with ALBA. Even as a kid, I followed ALBA games in Mercedes-Benz Arena, dreaming of stepping on the court myself. It is nice to do this now, but it is even better to do it for a few more years,” the 22-year-old German forward described his relationship with the Albatrosse, “It is great to feel the trust of the club and management. I look forward to continue representing Berlin internationally and playing for our fans.”

Since joining the youth system of ALBA in 2012, Delow combined developing his talents with working his way up the ladder to the senior team in 2019. A veteran of 112 appearances in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague across five campaigns, including 28 games played in the ongoing 2023-24 Regular Season. Under the guidance of Israel Gonzalez, he is averaging 5.1 points, 2.5 assists, 2.4 rebounds, 0.9 steals, and 0.1 blocks per contest with six games left in the continental campaign.

A three-time champion in Germany’s easyCredit BBL despite his young age, he tallied 6.0 points, 2.5 assists, and 2.2 rebounds per contest over 20 domestic appearances so far this season. Behind a 15-5 record, his side ranks third, trailing FC Bayern Munich and leading Niners Chemnitz in the standings.
