After playing the majority of their home games in the Aleksandar Nikolic Hall, Maccabi Tel Aviv moves to the Belgrade Arena

Due to a conflict in Israel, after playing just the first Turkish Airlines EuroLeague home game of the season in Menora Mivtachim Arena, Maccabi Tel Aviv moved to Belgrade and played all the rest in the historic Aleksandar Nikolic Hall.

However, due to a European boxing championship being held there from the 15th to the 29th of April, Oded Kattash’s side will move to the Belgrade Arena for the rest of the home matches in the 2023/24 EuroLeague season, Walla Sports reported.

Therefore, Maccabi will host Olimpia Milano in the Belgrade Arena, which will have the biggest capacity in the EuroLeague, for the final Regular Season round (11/04). The Tel Aviv side will also play Play-Ins and potential Playoff matches in the Belgrade Arena.

The Israeli champions played 15 games in the Aleksandar Nikolic Hall, recording 11 victories and four defeats, despite their fans not supporting them. With a 19-14 overall score, Maccabi can’t move to the playoff spot in the last round but will remain 7th, which means they will be the hosts in the Play-In phase.
