Ergin Ataman criticized Luca Vildoza, which provoked Argentine national team head coach and Minnesota Timberwolves assistant coach Pablo Prigioni to react on social media.
Panathinaikos‘ tactician commented on Prigioni’s statement that Ataman “should have more respect for his players” and didn’t hold back.
“Some guy that I learned today that he started coaching because I knew him as a player. He started to be an assistant coach in the NBA. What is strange to me is that some guy who is an assistant coach in the NBA tried to be involved in our situation. I think that the NBA is a very serious organization. I will not answer to him. The NBA must react,” Ataman said on the Argentinian national team coach’s comments.
