Euroleague Masterminds, presented by Motorola, reached out to five head coaches of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague. From Zeljko Obradovic of Partizan Mozzart Bet, Giannis Sfairopoulos of Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet, Ettore Messina of EA7 Emporio Armani Milan and Pablo Laso of FC Bayern Munich over the first four episodes of the series to Sarunas Jasikevicius of Fenerbahce Beko in the finale.

“You have to play good defense, you have to not give cheap points,” explained the Lithuanian tactician, “In European basketball, the teams are so similar to one another. So every cheap point, every transition point, offensive rebound, 50-50 balls; these balls really determine at the end of the game for 5, 6, 7 points difference. And usually the games are decided in that point range.”

Saras took over Fener in December. He previously coached FC Barcelona and Zalgiris in the EuroLeague.
