Panathinaikos Athens forward Juancho Hernangomez traveled to his native Spain to undergo further examinations on his calf.

Hernangomez was out of Game 2 of the EuroLeague playoffs against Maccabi Tel Aviv due to a muscle spasm in his left calf while also showing sinusitis symptoms. He had three points (1-6 shots) and eight rebounds over 21 minutes during the Game 1 loss of Panathinaikos.

Game 3 between Panathinaikos and Maccabi will be held in Belgrade on Tuesday (30/4). The Greens tied the quarterfinals 1-1 last Thursday after Maccabi opened the series with an away win at OAKA.

Maccabi star guard Wade Baldwin didn’t play in Game 2 after exiting Game 1 with a hamstring injury. He’s been undergoing treatment in Croatia with the hope of being able to be healthy to play in the next match.
