Just hours before the game of Crena Zvezda against Panathinaikos, a Facebook page which looked like it belonged to Jaka Blazic posted an insulting chant for the Greeks.

The player was presented to be using Greek profanities against the hosts of tonight game, mimicking a chant used by fans of Olympiacos, the arch-rival of Panathinaikos.

The fans of Olympiacos are considered “brothers” with those of Crvena Zvezda, so a message of this kind could have been considered a “declaration of war” between the player and the fans of Panathinaikos.

Blazic was quick to react. This page was not directly connected with him and of course he clarified that it was a fake page, creating a non issue.

However the fans of Panathinaikos were not convinced and they had something to say also.
