The streak of bad luck might continue for Olympiacos

By Nikos Varlas/ info@eurohoops.net

Olympiacos is definitely passing through a rough period. The streak of bad luck began with Patric Young’s serious injury (torn ACL) that will keep him sidelined probably until the end of the season. The Reds were improved, won games, moved on but this was a setback that brought down an avalanche on Olympiacos‘ camp, with many changes on the roster.

Now, another important summer investment of Olympiacos, is in danger of getting sidelined for quite a long time. Daniel Hackett, the team’s best player in recent games, hit his right knee, which was swelled a lot. According to Eurohoops sources, from the first examination done by Olympiacos‘ medical stuff, there is a high possibility that Hackett has his ACL torn.

There is still hope until the MRI examination, but the initial estimations are worrying. Let’s hope that for the sake of Daniel Hackett’s health, that nothing serious will be shown.
