Euroleague Basketball has announced disciplinary decisions related to incidents that occurred during Round 34 of the 2024–25 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and Play-In Showdown Game B.
The sanctions involve Serbian teams and pertain to the games between Partizan and Real Madrid at Belgrade Arena, and Crvena Zvezda and Bayern Munich at SAP Garden.
“Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade has been sanctioned with fines totaling €25,000 for the throwing of objects onto the playing court and offensive chants by its fans during the game Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade vs. Real Madrid, under Articles 29.2.f) and 29.2.g) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code.
Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade has been sanctioned with fines totaling €14,000 for offensive chants by its fans and the throwing of objects onto the playing court during the game FC Bayern Munich vs. Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade, under Articles 29.2.f) and 29.2.g) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code.
Mr. Nemanja Vasiljević, General Manager of Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade, has been sanctioned with a fine of €8,000 for committing acts representing a lack of respect toward the officiating crew during the game FC Bayern Munich vs. Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade, under Article 27.2.b) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code.“
