It’s once again Final Four time, this year in Abu Dhabi. Respectively being with Olympiacos since 2021 and 2022, Thomas Walkup and Alec Peters will be playing their third consecutive Final Four.

Before the biggest event of the season, they shared their feelings. “The excitement sets in a lot, especially when you land and you pull up to the hotel,” Peters said.

“You see all of the media knowing that you’re still two days away from playing a game. It’s almost like it seems far away, but at the same time, you’re just anxious and you’re ready for it.”

“There’s a different buzz and feel in the air. I think that the best part about the Final Four weekend is for me,” Walkup also commented.

The two also discussed the possibility of facing Panathinaikos in the final. “I think it’s fun. I don’t think EuroLeague really could draw it up any better than how it panned out,” Walkup commented.

“From the entertainment side of things. You want narratives, you want fun stories, you want rivalries.”

“I welcome the chance to have the Oly-Pana final, honestly. Bring it on. I think for the country of Greece in general. Why not have the two best teams duke it out to win a title? The fact that it’s never happened before it’s kind of crazy to me. We’d love to see it,” Peters added.
