Shaquielle McKissic is no longer considering calling it a day.
After leading Olympiacos to the Stoiximan GBL championship with a game-high 20 points in Game 4 versus archrival Panathinaikos Aktor on Sunday, the 34-year-old winger all but rejected previous plans about retirement at the end of the 2024-25 journey.
“Probably not,” he mentioned in a postgame interview with Greek public television, ERT, replying to a question about still considering retirement, “Moments like these show me how much I love the game.”
Following the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four and his side settling in third place in the 2024-25 edition of Europe’s premier club continental competition, the former Arizona State standout opened up about considering retirement.
McKissic joined the storied Greek club in 2020. He has since celebrated domestic league championships in 2022, 2023, and 2025 and he is a free agent this summer.
