The EuroLeague regular season concludes over the next two days, bringing to a close the first—and most important—part of the season in EuroLeague Fantasy as well.
It’s been another successful year for Eurohoops and this column in our (and your) favorite EuroLeague Fantasy game, as for the most part we were right on target with our picks and recommendations.
Not always—like last week with Juancho—but overall we performed very well and hope our advice helped you along the way.
Now, let’s move on to the latest picks for the final (38th) round of the regular season.
We’re planning to invest 15.2 credits in Kendrick Nunn!
Granted, his season hasn’t been as good as last year’s, and in his last three games he’s struggled, averaging just 6.6 PIR over that stretch.
That’s exactly why we’re including him in our “fantasy” team, for three reasons:
- We believe he won’t deliver another poor performance
- Panathinaikos desperately needs a win against Efes, so they’ll need Nunn at his best
- He’s still in the race for the top scorer award, so we expect a high-level performance—worthy of his talent—at OAKA
We’ll also once again recommend Monaco’s Matthew Strazel, whom we had “locked in” a few weeks ago at a much lower price (9.1 credits), and who has now risen to 10.9!
He’s reached that value because he’s been outstanding over Monaco’s last six games—despite the team being shorthanded—averaging 19.5 PIR, not to mention the bonus points from his team’s multiple wins.
Monaco needs a victory against Hapoel, and the Israeli side isn’t exactly known for its defense. In what should be a high-scoring game, Strazel has plenty of reasons to shine.
Anyone who followed our advice and picked him up earlier has definitely profited…
