The Greek team will finish the regular season at the very top after a new victory in Piraeus

Olympiacos secured a victory in the final 38th round of the EuroLeague, as they defeated Olimpia Milano in Piraeus with a score of 85-76.

This means Olympiacos finished the regular EuroLeague season at the top with 26-12 and will be first heading into the Playoffs.

“We finished in the top spot for the third time during the last four seasons, and that says something about the team”, said coach Giorgos Bartzokas after the final buzzer.

Sasha Vezenkov led his team to victory with 20 points and four rebounds, Tyler Dorsey scored 18, Donta Hall had 14, while Nikola Milutinov recorded 13 points and 15 rebounds.

On the other side, Shavon Shields scored 24 points, while Armoni Brooks added 13.

The Greeks did what they had to and finished the first part of the season with a win. The guests held on until halftime, trailing by just two points (47-45), but Olympiacos accelerated in the second half.

The hosts had a 20-point lead at one point (79-59). The Italians reduced it, but couldn’t avoid defeat in Greece. Olimpia Milano finished the EuroLeague season with a record of 17-21, in 14th position.
