Maccabi Tel Aviv is working on its roster for next season and has reportedly identified Kevarrius Hayes as a frontcourt target.
According to Israeli portal ONE, the club recently submitted an official offer to the center, who played for Monaco this season and made a positive impression in the EuroLeague.
Hayes averaged 6.3 points and 3.4 rebounds in the competition, while Maccabi views him as a player who could fit its style with his athleticism, defense, energy and ability to run the floor.
The race is not expected to be simple, as Fenerbahce is also reportedly monitoring his situation. ONE also adds that Maccabi is continuing talks with Carsen Edwards and Tamir Blatt as part of its plans for next season.
