Euroleague Basketball announced the completion of the ticket sales phases for the 2026 EuroLeague Final Four Athens, presented by Etihad.

Additional details were shared on Thursday.

Per the press release: “Over the past weeks, Euroleague Basketball has completed the different ticket sales phases for the 2026 EuroLeague Final Four Athens presented by Etihad, supported by its Official Ticketing Partner, Platinium Group.

The ticket sales process was structured across multiple phases, including dedicated pre-sales for selected groups and stakeholders, followed by several general public sales windows. This phased approach was implemented to ensure broader access to one of the most in-demand events in European sport.

Demand for the 2026 EuroLeague Final Four proved exceptionally high throughout all sales phases, with both general admission and premium seating allocations selling out rapidly at each stage. During peak sales periods, more than 500,000 users attempted to access the platform simultaneously, underlining the global interest surrounding European basketball’s premier event and the scalability and reliability of Platinium Group’s technology infrastructure.

With all public ticket inventory now sold out, the 2026 edition is set to be one of the most sought-after Final Fours in EuroLeague history.

As the event approaches, additional ticketing functionalities will continue to support event operations and fan services, including integrated access control and ticket validation systems to support arena entry operations during the event.

The collaboration between Euroleague Basketball and Platinium Group also supports the centralized management of ticket distribution and related operational processes ahead of the Final Four.

“The extraordinary demand we experienced during the Final Four Tickets Sales phases continues to prove the massive interest for our competition across Europe and beyond,” said Gawain Davies, Chief Business Officer at Euroleague Basketball. “Managing this level of demand in a structured and fair way has always been a priority for us and a challenge at the same time. We are thankful to Platinium Group for their help and commitment during the whole process.”

“We are proud to have supported Euroleague Basketball throughout these critical sales phases and to continue working alongside them for their future events.” added Luca Scafati, Commercial Director at Platinium Group. “This project demonstrates once again how the Platinium Group advanced ticketing technology can elevate both operational efficiency and fan experience at the highest level of international sport.”

Euroleague Basketball and Platinium Group will continue working together on the remaining ticketing and access operations ahead of the 2026 EuroLeague Final Four Athens presented by Etihad and in the future.”
