EuroLeague is gearing up for the upcoming Final Four in Athens, Greece, but before that, EuroLeague president Dejan Bodiroga met with PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi in Istanbul.

The head of the French club presented Bodiroga, a basketball legend, with a Paris Saint-Germain football jersey, maybe sending a message for things to come.

Bodiroga, who also has a great personal relationship with UEFA president Aleksander Čeferin, was invited to Istanbul, where the UEFA Europa League final is held on the 20th of May.

It’s no secret that PSG was one of the big football clubs targeted by NBA Europe, and there were reports of their intention to submit an NBA Europe bid.

While more details are still unknown, Kevin Durant, who is a minority owner in PSG, has confirmed that among the plans that the club has presented to him was the creation of a basketball section.

Of course, it’s too premature to make any kind of assumptions; still, it’s obvious that there’s a line of communication between the club and the EuroLeague management.
