Olympiacos is the first finalist of the EuroLeague, having defeated Fenerbahce in the first Semifinal of the tournament in Athens, at Telecom Sports Centre, with a score of 79-61.

Alec Peters was the top scorer for his team with 17 points (7/7 from the field), Sasha Vezenkov scored 16, 14 of which he scored in the third quarter. Tyler Dorsey added 15 points, while Tyson Ward and Evan Fournier had 10.

On the other side, Tarik Biberovic scored 17 points with four successful three-pointers, and Talen Horton Tucker added 16 points with six rebounds.

From the very beginning, it was clear that Olympiacos would not lose this match. Carried by the excellent support from the stands, the red and whites did not concede a basket for the first seven minutes and already reached a 12-0 lead, with two three-pointers from Dorsey.

The best team of the regular season played excellent defense, and by the second quarter, with an outstanding performance from Peters, they reached a 16-point lead (28-12), but Fenerbahce managed to come back by halftime (33-24).

However, they couldn’t do more than that. The third quarter belonged to Vezenkov, who scored 14 points, leading his team to a 20-point lead at one point, from which Fenerbahce could not recover.

In the grand Final, scheduled for Sunday (20:00), Oly will face the winner of the second semi-final between Valencia and Real Madrid.
