Real Madrid lost the EuroLeague final against Olympiacos (92-85), a bitter end to the European campaign that came after a great display of the white spirit, as Mario Hezonja assured.
“We have shown what it means to wear this jersey,” said Hezonja after losing the EuroLeague final. “Olympiacos has been the best team this season; they finished first in the regular season.”
He continued in the same fashion.
“Everyone understands what it means to be in these scenarios,” said the Croatian star of Real Madrid minutes after falling to Olympiacos.
“I am very proud and happy with the reaction of everyone in the club, of my teammates. Congratulations to Olympiacos, but today we had them, anyone could have won. We had some misfortunes at the end, but very proud. I want everyone to get used to this because we are going to come back and win the EuroLeague.”
