Fenerbahçe fans did not receive their tickets in time for the Athens event

The ticket problems at the 2026 EuroLeague Final Four in Athens had Fenerbahçe at the center of the issue.

Fans of the Greek team didn’t receive the tickets they had purchased for the final in time and were relocated. Despite not having tickets, they were admitted to the semifinals, and VIPs were moved to the upper bowl.

The club that lost in the semi-finals against Olympiacos issued an official statement:
Official representations have been made to EuroLeague regarding the serious ticketing and organizational irregularities experienced, particularly before and during the semi-final match of the EuroLeague Final Four held in Athens from May 22-24, 2026.

Our club’s application details the grievances suffered by our fans, operational problems in the ticketing process, serious seating arrangements, and management shortcomings during the organization process.

All our objections and assessments regarding this unacceptable process, which directly affected our fans, athletes, and the families of our technical staff, have been officially shared with EuroLeague; and we have clearly communicated our expectation of a comprehensive explanation and concrete response regarding the irregularities.

As Fenerbahçe Sports Club, we inform the public that we will continue to monitor this process to protect the rights of our fans, ensure equality and transparency in the organizational processes, and prevent similar grievances from recurring.
