After reviewing incidents during Sunday’s championship game of the 2026 EuroLeague Final Four Athens, presented by Etihad, Euroleague Basketball confirmed the latest disciplinary decisions on Tuesday, announcing a fine of €8,000 for the newly crowned champion Olympiacos.
Per the press release: “Euroleague Basketball has announced the following disciplinary decision pertaining to incidents that occurred during the championship game at the 2026 EuroLeague Final Four.

- Olympiacos Piraeus has been sanctioned with a fine of €8,000 due to the lighting of flares on occasion of the game Olympiacos Piraeus – Real Madrid , under Article 29.2.d) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code.”
During the championship weekend, specifically following the Semifinals on Friday, Valencia’s Brancou Badio was issued a fine of €6,000.

- Brancou Badio, player of Valencia Basket, has been sanctioned with a fine of €6,000 for his behavior following the end of the game between Valencia Basket and Real Madrid, under Article 27.2.b) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code.”
Concluding their respective 2025-26 schedules following the end of the continental season, Olympiacos and Valencia both focus on their domestic leagues.
