After the loss in the ABA League Finals, Partizan officially confirmed that American guard Dwayne Washington is no longer a member of the club.
“Two years and two trophies in the black-and-white jersey! Thank you for everything, Wash, and good luck in the next chapter of your career,” Partizan wrote in a farewell message.
Washington could continue his career with Bayern Munich, which has reportedly shown interest in the ABA League’s leading scorer.
He had several memorable performances during his two-year stint with Partizan, including key displays against Crvena zvezda, a major role in the club’s Serbian League title run, and a record-breaking 48-point performance in the ABA League.
