Partizan has officially secured the services of Tonye Jekiri for another season.
The Nigerian center, who joined the black-and-whites in January, has signed a contract extension and will remain with the club for the 2026-27 campaign.
Jekiri quickly established himself as an important part of Joan Peñarroya’s rotation after arriving midway through the season, providing size, rebounding and defensive presence in the paint.
The experienced big man averaged 9.6 points and 4.8 rebounds in the ABA League, while posting 7.5 points and 5.0 rebounds per game in the EuroLeague.
Before moving to Belgrade, Jekiri played for several prominent European clubs, including Baskonia, Fenerbahce, UNICS Kazan and CSKA Moscow.
