Anadolu Efes has officially finalized a deal to bring Croatian forward Dario Saric back to the club ahead of the upcoming 2026–27 EuroLeague season.
As announced on Tuesday, the 32-year-old big returns to Istanbul on a 2+1 season agreement following a decade-long career in the NBA.
Saric previously suited up for Efes between 2014 and 2016. During his initial two-year stint, he developed into one of Europe’s premier young talents, helping the team secure both the Turkish Cup and the Presidential Cup. His standout performances in Turkiye served as the ultimate launching pad for his move across the Atlantic, where he was drafted 12th overall in 2014 before officially joining the Philadelphia 76ers in 2016.

The acquisition marks a major statement of intent for the EuroLeague outfit as they look to re-establish absolute dominance in both domestic and European competitions.
Saric, a Sibenik native, brings elite basketball IQ, structural versatility, and vital veteran presence to the frontline. His unique ability to pass out of the post and stretch the floor with his outside shooting led him to 522 appearances in the NBA over the last decade, from the Sixers to later stints with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Phoenix Suns, Oklahoma City Thunder, Golden State Warriors, Denver Nuggets, and Sacramento Kings, until being waived by the Detroit Pistons last February.
By reuniting with a club where he experienced his earliest professional triumphs, he looks to close an unfinished chapter and spearhead a new era of silverware for the Istanbul powerhouse.
