Zeljko Obradovic has arrived in Athens for a trip that had reportedly been scheduled long before the recent speculation surrounding a potential return to Panathinaikos.
According to Greek reports, the legendary Serbian coach is expected to hold talks with Panathinaikos officials during his stay and hear the full proposal presented by club owner Dimitris Giannakopoulos, who is eager to convince him to return to the Greens after 14 years.
Obradovic is set to spend the next two to three days in his privately owned residence in central Athens before returning to Serbia. He is then expected to attend the Dusan Ivkovic memorial coaching seminar alongside Ettore Messina.
The nine-time EuroLeague champion is also scheduled to return to Greece on June 30, ahead of the EuroLeague Head Coaches Board seminar, which will take place from July 2 to July 5.
