Matthew Strazel is reaching an agreement with Anadolu Efes on a two-year contract, according to Eurohoops sources.
The Turkish club will also have to pay a significant buyout to AS Monaco in order to complete the deal, as the French guard remains under contract with the Principality side.
Strazel spent the last four seasons with Monaco, becoming one of the key pieces in the club’s backcourt rotation.
His potential departure comes at a time when Monaco is facing financial uncertainty and could be forced to part ways with several valuable assets during the summer.
