Panathinaikos announced on Tuesday that they have officially ended their cooperation with Kenneth Faried, who played for the club last season.
Faried joined Panathinaikos at the start of the season when Ergin Ataman’s team had many problems in the center position. Right from the start, he was more than impressive, being named EuroLeague’s MVP for the month of November.
With the “Greens,” he won the Greek Cup, although he didn’t play in the final. In the Stoiximan GBL finals, while he was among the eight available foreign players, he wasn’t included in the squad for any of the five games against Olympiacos.
Just after the season in Greece with Panathinaikos ended, he immediately found his next team. He joined the Puerto Rican league with the Cangrejeros de Santurce.
In his league debut (having agreed with the same team in 2025 but not playing), the “Manimal” impressed with 23 points, 14 rebounds, and 2 blocks, leading his team to a 96-95 victory.
