A “trade” between Hapoel Tel Aviv and Maccabi Tel Aviv is happening, as Yam Madar is reportedly moving from Hapoel to Maccabi, and Tamir Blatt is taking the opposite route, according to Sport5.

To be exact, Blatt’s move to Hapoel is a reaction to Hapoel losing Madar to Maccabi, with both players being free agents.

While nothing is official yet, Madar is getting a $2M net salary, which in total costs Maccabi $4M per season, including local taxes, for a 2+1 deal making him the highest-paid contract in the club’s history.

On the other side, Blatt is leaving Maccabi with a $1,6 salary, which the report doesn’t clarify if it’s net or gross.
