Fenerbahçe has reached a new agreement with Nicolo Melli, keeping him under contract until the end of the 2027-28 season.
The 35-year-old Italian big man led Fenerbahce to the Final Four last season and was named the EuroLeague’s second-best defender of the year.
Wearing this jersey in the 2017-18, 2018-19, 2024-25, and 2025-26 seasons, Nicolo Melli has won 1 EuroLeague title, 3 Turkish League championships, 3 Turkish Cups, and 1 Presidential Cup, and he will continue to compete for Fenerbahce for two more years.
Last season, under the leadership of Sarunas Jasikevicius, the team won the title after a thrilling final against Besiktas and also reached the EuroLeague Final Four, where they were stopped by Olympiacos.
Additionally, Fenerbahce has parted ways with Tarik Biberovic, who is set to join the NBA, playing for the Dallas Mavericks after his best season in Europe.
