Keenan Evans is officially a free agent after Olympiacos announced the end of their collaboration with the point guard.
The 30-year-old American point guard was acquired while injured in 2024 (right Achilles tendon rupture on 5/1/23 and left kneecap rupture on 26/5/24) on a contract until 2027 and was injured again just as seriously in only his second game back from a lengthy absence.
The left Achilles tendon rupture on 12/11/25 sidelined him again and forced Olympiacos to opt out.
Olympiacos bid farewell to Evans with an emotional message on social media
“Sometimes fate has other plans and the story doesn’t unfold as we dream it. Nevertheless, our journey together ended with two significant titles: the Greek Championship and the EuroLeague.
Keenan Evans, we wish you above all health and every success in the next chapter of your journey. Thank you for the professionalism, patience, and the way you handled every challenge with strength and dignity. Wishing you all the best, Keenan!”
