Tomas Satoransky has signed his new contract with Hapoel Tel Aviv, per Eurohoops sources, and the official announcement of the deal is expected soon.
The 34-year-old point guard has played in the EuroLeague only under FC Barcelona’s jersey, but it was finally time for a change.
With 388 NBA games under his belt, Satoransky is an icon in his native Czech Republic and one of the best European point guards of his generation.
He was the Spanish League champion in 2023, the Spanish Supercup winner in 2015, and has been the Czech player of the year eight times.
He is expected to create a very interesting tandem alongside Serbian guard Vasilije Micic.
