Patrick Baldwin Jr. has joined Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet, the Serbian powerhouse announced on Saturday, shortly following a report from Meridian Sport.
The 23-year-old frontcourt player was active as an unrestricted free agent in the NBA, but seemed poised to make his move to the EuroLeague after spending the last four years operating across the Washington Wizards, Golden State Warriors, Sacramento Kings, Los Angeles Clippers, Philadelphia 76ers, and various rosters in the G League. The former consensus five-star high school recruit most recently finished the 2025–26 campaign on a two-way deal with the Kings, splitting his time with their minor league affiliate in Stockton.
Selected by the Warriors with the 28th overall pick of the 2022 NBA Draft, presented by State Farm, the seven-foot winger brought high expectations into the professional ranks following his NCAA career under his father at UW-Milwaukee. Baldwin Jr. accumulated 105 appearances in the NBA. Over his four-year career, he averaged 3.6 points and 2.0 rebounds per game, though he truly excelled during his extensive G League stints.
His arrival represents another massive roster upgrade for the Belgrade-based club, which has been incredibly active in the summer market ahead of the 2026–27 season upon hiring Ibon Navarro as the new head coach. Heading to the AdmiralBet ABA League and domestic competition in Serbia, besides EuroLeague’s top-tier level in the Old Continent, Baldwin Jr. joins a heavily reconstructed squad that had previously secured high-profile commitments from Chris Jones, David Kramer, and Johnathan Motley, alongside an agreement with local prospect Vojin Medarevic.
